Colgate Country Showdown

So last night we had tryouts in Price for the Colgate Country Showdown. We placed top 6! There is some competition for us; that's for sure! The final 6 compete on July 31 in Price again. The winner goes on to the state competition. We need as many supporters there as possible. Part of our score is audience reaction! Come cheer loud and show you're support. We are so excited to have placed top 6 and compete again!

First Single "Remember This"

Guess what.... we FINALLY RECORDED our first song, 'Remember This'. They lyrics were WRITTEN BY JAKE and the music was a JOINT EFFORT from all members. We worked into the early morning in Logan and got an UNMASTERED VERSION of 'Remember This' done! We are hoping to get back in the studio soon to make the final touches and get it mastered. Syracuse Days

We had a great time at SYRACUSE DAYS yesterday! We performed at noon... that was Becky and Julee's first time performing on a stage like that with the band. We all had a BLAST. Then that night Jake hosted Syracuse Idol; he was last years winner. Mike made the top four and then... he took FIRST place. Congrats Mike... you did us proud.

Audition Time

We will be auditioning for the Layton "Show Us Your Talent" at 4:30 at Layton High this Saturday. Also, Jake will be singing by himself and his audition time is at 8:30.

The COOLEST Band EVER

Hey this is our first post. Our name is Brixstone, and we are a pretty new band. We have our first audition on April 18, 2009 in Layton, Utah. Hopefully we will do well in the auditions. We should be getting our pictures taken this weekend for everyone to see.
